    3 left in a tournament.

    Stacks something like:

    bb 44k
    sb 22k
    dealer 22k

    blinds 1k/2k

    Button folds

    sb completes.
    bb checks with 53o

    flop

    532

sb checks. bb BETS 5k. sb calls.

    Turn

    6

    sb pushes.
    bb?

Agree, give us a range of hands that the SB will push with here.

Ok, I was a spectator in this hand, the bb was debating a call and announced he had 2 pair and blah blah.

I was thinking this was an easy call. no way sb is raising all-in with a 4 into the flop raiser.

bb called, and sb had q8o. The bb then berated himself for taking so long to come to that conclusion.

So......I was thinking about this. I imagine this topic has been discussed many times before, but assuming we've an oppponant with a brain.

Could the most obvious play in this situation be the best? Of course the guy has to have something to call, but if we have the straight in this case, the best play would be to move all-in, simply because that's not what we 're meant to do in this spot.

    y/n?

Stuff like leading out on monotone boards with the flush and where you've hit on a paired board? Fast-playing....

The sb didn't seem like a strong player, but I'm guessing his thinking was that he couldn't be called by anything other than the straight.

I personally think button should have pushed preflop.....

    Nope it was 4 handed.
As for villians thought process, not sure he had much, he just seen scary card and thought sure I will try make it look like straight without giving much consideration to much else
