    $1/2 9 handed

Opponent is solid and has $640. Just playing his good hands. tag no tricks. He has me well covered($214).
Ive been much looser than him recently but ive been getting a lot of playable hands. Ive lost a few recent pots and he probably has a bad opinion of me by now.

I raise to $10 from ep with AcKc and he calls from the sb.

    Flop 9c 3c Jd

    He bet $16 i called

    Turn Qc

    He bet $32

Opinions on how i should play the rest of the hand from here and play up till now?

you played the hand fine .you should fold now.
based on how villain plays you should not put any more money in the pot now.

Fold the flop, or raise the flop the odd time, but don't see much value in calling there.

just calling to see if villain will bet again is fine on its own in situations like this.

What do you think he's betting the flop with then?

That makes a lot more sense. I was wondering when you departed Rockville.

Edit: Oh yeah, the hand. Flat-calling again looks very suspicious, I think. He'll surely slow down. But with your stack there's not really much you can raise it to. Maybe make it 80, and hope he put's you in for the rest of your money. Or call and value-bet the river. But of course if the board pairs you probably have to slow down then as well.

Raise the flop so. Make it 50 to play and call all in.

Very aggressive. Occasionally id play it like you say on this flop if im out of position. Not to keen on this line here though.

Well this is especially good against a tag player who will fold a lot of hands to the flop raise. Against a loose calling station I would call more often.

Call again and give him the opportunity to bet again on the river with his trips;) , and then ship that sucka allin

As played I would call and shove river.

Calling is prolly better against this kind of dude, as he normally has a big hand when he leads the flop (like a set) - making him more likely to pay us off when we hit.

agree with fuzzbox. Raise now, you don't have to raise the flop but you should sometimes.

Things were going ok until i decided not to raise the turn. I just called. I did this partly because i didnt put him on a strong hand so decided to let him catch up(str8, 2pair,set) and if he missed he would have the oppertunity to bet the river strong if he felt that was the only way he could take it(unlikely).

    River 7c

Terrible. I knew i wasnt going to get paid off now unless he had Kc, And even then...
He confirmed this when he checked the river but i did managed to get $45 more when he called after a long think.

Even more bitter was seeing he had JhJc. So i probably would have doubled up if i played it any other way on or before the turn. Any club on the river was always going to be a frightner for this hand and if the board paired i was beat.
