Looking to move closer to college, possibly near the Wilton area, what coverage can I get? Or is it just as easy to get "wired" broadband?

eh... irishbroadband, amocom, novanetworks for starters... If theres a phone line in the house already it'd be quite easy to get wired bb.

Wired broadband looks to be a bit better in Cork alright. I'll have to look into it. Thanks, I hadn't heard of amocom, I'll check them out :) Irish Broadband only cover Wilton with their more expensive package, I only really need a crpapy connection as I'll be at college most of the time.
