    Ya right, I don't trust it. Apple care is cheaper in the U.S. I bought mine in the states along with my MBP, but used my parents address in California to register it. They sent a letter to my parents with all the codes and info I'd need in the event of a break down. I don't know if it was really necessary to registered it there, but did it anyway just in case.

    When i bought my ipod in NYC a few years back i bought applecare with it in america and registered it when i got home.
    Subsequently my ipod died and got a replacement no hassle!

    Ring Apple's main repair center in Ireland (MACTIVATE) in Dublin.

    They will sell you apple care far cheaper than apple and cheaper than ebay and without risk.
