I'm looking to buy a Laser printer for as little as possible. It's just for printing out college notes. I'm sick of the inkjet running out of ink all the time

    Any recommendations?

How cheap is cheap. Printers starting in Elara at €133 for 12ppm.

/edit just noticed Obelisk29 Dell was just about to add it.

I have one of these Dell 1110. It's pretty basic but sufficient for my needs.

well komplett have one for €99 + del it's a HP 1810, also seen a samsung for a similar price http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?SAM-ML1610 there is another brother one on Dabs...I want to stay away from Dell...from previous experience their ink is relatively expensive so I would expect the same for their toners.

EDIT: Just looked at the Dell site, toner is €66, I think the toner for the HP is €40ish...

Yep come with a toner, We used to sell loads of these when i worked for them. Nice and compact, and we never had any back afaik.

    Pcworld were doing a instore deal on a lbp1020 ( i think ) for 59.99 with a toner.

But remember the toner will cost about 60-80€ but will do 2000odd pages. depending the ammount on the page.

the printer we have now is an inkjet, it costs €35 a cartridge so I don't think I mind about paying €60 for toner because it last 3-4 times as long as the other cartridges.
