I got a tip from my uncle, who often gets fairly decent info. I'd expect it to be decent enough, but dont put the house on it or anything.

I'd suggest a win/place bet or an each way, just to be cautious. (There are 4 places up for grabs)

    Navan - 3:00 - Chapizod

Currently 12/1 for the win and 11/5 for the place on betfair.

Generally available at 12/1 with most bookies too.

McDonogh factor in the price I suspect, as it's a bit low in a lottery of a race like this for a horse with no proven runs.

I take it you meant Chapelizod;) Hope so I've just backed it:)

    10/1 on Paddys at present

3rd in its last race which as the same ground as today....

and judging by the summary of its last race, will preferthe step back in distance.

didn't back it though, too lazy to go down to the bookies right now

Victram in the 5pm is going to really love how bad the ground has got in Navan.

Winner of this race in 2004 and 2005, McGuinness in fine form this year.

I'm going to go with Laywaan (each way) in the 4:00 at Navan. I think she has been treated very well in the weights. She has shown great form of late, she is proven here (over this disance) too.

A win and a place bet for me:

    Laywaan to win @ 4/1 (2pts)
    Laywaan to be placed @ 20/21 (3pts)

Won quite uncomfortably in the end too, conditions looks shocking at Navan too.

    Well in.
