    Hi All,

In work our domain (including mx records) were controlled by eircom. We've always had are own email server in house.

A few months ago we moved from eircom to another provider, but for some reason we don't get mails from anyone with an eircom account.

Does anyone know a reason for that?

Is there a security setting in exhange that is blocking these emails?

It's an extremely common issue with Eircom. Basically, their DNS servers still contain data about your domain (zone files) and are still claiming to be authoritative for the domain. Any Eircom users will use Eircom's DNS servers by default and the email gets routed still to your (now) non-existent mail server at the old eircom IP address.

You need to get on to Eircom support and ask them to remove all Zone files from the DNS servers for your domain, only that will fix the problem/
