Saw this and thought it looked good I like the idea of being able to watch stuff off my PC on the TV without burning DVDs all the time as well as having all my files backed up - I imagine there's something similiar out there for a better price but don't know exactly what I'm looking for. None of the hard drives I've looked at boast you can plug it into to TV, don't know if that means it can't be done or it's just not something people normally want.

Anyone any thoughts or able to point me in the right directions.

    Item Number 556098

Pikaone 320GB Harddrive & Multimedia Player with TV Output & Remote
    QVC Price £175.50
    Today's Special Value £144.84
    UK Postage & Packaging £5.95

Keep all your files, photos, music and movies safe and stored with this 320GB external hard drive from Pikaone. This nifty device has plug and play technology, so you can connect it directly into your TV to watch films or shows that you've recorded. Or get the whole family around the screen to watch a slide show of your latest holiday photos. And if you hook up to the hi-fi to the TV, you can enjoy your favourite tunes. You can even use it as a virtual filing cabinet to store important documents and bills. It comes complete with a handy remote control.

Only thing I would be worried about with those things is the amount of video codecs it has, might not play everything!
