Really haven't a rashers about bass amps, have been playing my own POS bass through a guitar amp for too long and want to buy something a little more substantial now that I'm upgrading. Any suggestions for a reasonable bass amp for under 200 euro that would be able to be heard for light jam sessions against an electric?

It that kinda budget i think a behringer would give you the most volume for your euro

The reviews for the Behringer amps on Harmony-Central are less than appealing though, I'd rather get a lower wattage Warwick or something if it was a toss up.

I wouldnt pay any attention to harmony central reviews, scare tactics/stereotyping tbh. If your really put off by the reviews, then check out SWR's LA range, Ashdown's Electric blue range, some Hartkes and Hughes&Kettners

for under 200euro you'll need to go second hand or you wont get jack
