    Just wondering, how exactly do you go about getting back money that was taken because of emergency tax? I am a student and worked a temporary job last month and I have no current employment.

    ring the revenue office its in the book, ask for a p50 fill it in when you get it send it back with your p45. they will send out a refund (in time)

    You could be waiting a while, it can take anything from 2 weeks to 3 months so get it in soon as you can
