    Singer wanted for originals band based in Galway (would be willing to move to Dublin if we found what we were looking for in singer - good voice, lyrics and ability to put melodies to music). Influences are Mogwai, Sigur Rós, U2, The Beatles and everything or anything. We have a large repertoire of original music for singer to work with and there is a good band atmosphere with easy going people (ages 20-23). If interested, PM me or email oph0@hotmail.com

    Hey,

    Well ive got the ability to put melody and lyrics to music. Ive written a few songs myself, they are basic chords, no lead but woth good melody and lyrics ala live forever, dreaming of you (the coral) dont panic Coldplay to name some examples of songs i woul compare them to

    Im 25 and from Dublin and i was ideally looking for a competent guitarist to write songs with and then add members etc but i thought id give you a shout.
    Dont really know sigur ros, not a huge U2 fan but i love the Beatles and most of their obvious derivatives like Oasis, Stone Roses, La's, Jam etc.
