    It's in Power management in where you set your screensaver (in XP - right click on destop choose properties) should give you an option to turn off monitor and hard if computer idle for x time)

    My advice would be to set it for 2 hours (to cover lunch breaks etc)

    Go to Start=>Control Panel=>Scheduled Tasks

    Create a new task and call it shutdown.

    In the properties change the run to C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 0

    Under the schedule tab set it to run daily at twenty past five.

    Ensure the enabled box is ticked.

    Right click on the desktop

    Click on "Properties"

    Click on "Power" (nea the bottom)

    Type in the values you want

    Think he might be talking about a group policy or something to get all the pc's to do it rather than just 1 or 2.. Is this right OP?

    There's a small program called Switch Off . Works well.
