Also, I'll be needing to use the trains in France. On the website (sncf.com) I can't quite figure out how to purchase tickets. It keeps asking for some sort of season ticket/discount/rail card number. I eventually found how to purchase one of these rail cards but they cost 50euro and I don't even know what it's for. So, does anyone know how the rail system works in France? Can I just hop on a train between Marseille and Montpellier and buy the ticket there or do I need a rail card or do I have to reserve seats?
