    Fold to flop bet.

Since you didn't, calling the turn bet is marginal - you're getting odds of 9 - 1.

Bet the river and call a raise.

If he bets I reraise. If he bets 1.50 then make it 4.50 and call an all in with his stack. I would have raised preflop though in that situation a lot of the time. I am not mad about the call on the flop though as played with just the 2 over cards.

Try to get as much of his money in as possible. If he has a boat then so be it I think. Him being one of the table shortstacks makes your decision easier.

Edit: I got positions wrong, but as above try to get as much as possible in. Bet 1.50 and if he reraises then put in enough to cover him.

I opted for check hoping hed bet back at me if he had 2 pairs, considering he hadnt shown much strength i figured a raise would make him fold, turned out he had triple 10's and although i could have got him all in i was worried about the full house with the 10's on board. Was this correct or should i be putting my opponent all in here because the chips ill make putting someone all in here should outweigh the money ill lose coming up against a boat. Personally i dont like overcommitting when a possible flush or house is on the board and theyre showing good strength.

From the replies i guess i should have bet on the river instead of calling!

You're betting on the river and reraising if you can because there are so many hands that he could have that he will call you with and that you beat (i.e. not the house).

Calling the bet on the flop is the worst part of this hand.

And also the fact that he is so shortstacked.

Yeah, i agree calling the flop was bad, i had like a 50/1 chance of hitting a straight and even though the turn gave me the straight draw i would still have to fold to a decent raise. But when you have 30-40euro and someone raises 40c its tempting:o
