Does anyone know where I may dispose of old alloys as I am getting new alloys put onto the car today.

I cant sell them, no one will want to buy them.

Wolfrace Katana's 15's pretty nice in all fairness. Am not use to seeing the car look so shiney.

I wont be keeping the car very long (2yrs) but the alloys I had on original where starting to give me more trouble than it was worth. They where on the car when I bought them.

I have a set of alloys 15's for Opel Astra 98-04 available to go to a home home.

Not a bit of paint on them and the rear tyres tend to leak air unless you get a tube in it, which one of them has, three good tyres and one bald tyre. So bald theres no groves in it.

Like I said free to a good home.

Make sure to buy a good set of locking wheel nuts for them. Scumbags are drawn to shiney new alloy wheels. You may come out some morning and find your car up on blocks.

Your local civic amenity centre should have a skip for waste metal. It costs nothing.

    Hey guys,

Sorry to bump an old thread but this is all I could find when I went searching. I have to replace a wheel and I was wondering if anyone knew how to dispose of a single alloy please? If anyone has, er and art project or something...

Am in South County Dublin if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Dooz
