We are bringing our 6 month old to gran canaria for a week on 4th november.

This will be the first time we have flown with her.

Any tips on flying, what to do/what not to do etc.

Also, we have been on sun holidays before, but never really thought about how dfferent it would be with the baby. Again any tips, do's and don'ts.

    Thanks

Just back from Majorca with my wife and son who is 5 months old.My biggest fear was how he eould get on clearing his ears.He had no problem, but make sure that they are sucking on either a bottle or soother.

Their sleeping pattern will be upset a little also.Lanzarote is a long flight (4-4.5 hrs) whereas majorca was only 2.5 hours. You will need to bring the usual bottles nappies etc.

When over there go out early and home early in time for the childs bedtime.

Most importantly keep the child out of the sun and apply plenty of suncream !

Its also handy that you can wheel the child in their buggy right up to the gate and get to board firstly!

Hope this helps.Enjoy Lanzarote. It's a lovely place with great restaurants
