Out of interest does anyone do this every morning?

It is only 20 miles and I can't see it being any more painfuil then the trains.

What way are you standing on the train that it is so painful?

Trevor is always on the train nowadays, the lazy fecker. The fold up bike he had many moons ago didn't really do him favours.

I still occasionly give my elderly girlfriend a "bar" home while cycling this route. We get a few looks now and then, but my friends and I used to do this all the time 40 years ago so what's wrong with doing it today. In DongGuan (China) they fit 5 people on a Honda 50 no problem. I guess most kids today are too busy using peer to peer networking, downloading .mp3 and .wma files to bother going out for a healthy cycle, although I must say as an aside .ogg files (Ogg Vorbis) have the best sound quality in relation to their bit size.

Sorry my mind is wandering today.

I don't feel safe on the roads in a landrover this time of year. dark wet etc.
No way I would risk cycling even in all the day-glo gear. too dangerous.
