I bought a new bike about 10 days ago and I just received the ownership papers in the post yesterday and the name on them is misspelt

Is there anyway to get it it changed and if I have to show the paper work to a Garda or insurance company would it cause any problems ?

Which form is wrong? My licenceing cert had my name wrong - I just had to send it back with a note to say what was wrong and they sent me out a new one.

Same thing happend to me when I got the Duc, Al. I had to fill out the change of name thingy, and send a letter from Kim in ducati who registured it to the wrong customer. Sent all the stuff to shannon when I moved to Tallaght. With in a week or two I had not gotten it. With in a month I still had not gotten it. Rang up the place in shannon. It would seem it had all been sorted.. they just forgot to send out the correct ownership booklet

The lady on the phone sent it out while I spoke to her. I got it all correctly filled out in the post about 4 of 5 days later :)

Well I'd expect that sort of incompetance from Ducati Ireland and but not Bikeworld ;)

    Not Your Ornery Onager

    Could be handy!

"Your honour, my name is 'xxx'. This summons is in the name of 'xxxx'.

    "Case dismissed!" ;)
