Connection Problems, Drogheda Area

Anyone in the Drogheda area experiencing slow connections. I'm on the eircom 2MB package.

Only getting a download speed of about 1Kbps on the irishisptest.com site but the upload speed seems fine. Also when I run a tracert to www.irishisptest.com the request times out as below.



Anyone else experiencing problems? Is this the same problem that seemed to be affecting Cork useres recently?

We're seeing related problems with Eircom connections at a number of locations around the country (Dublin, Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny, Wexford). What's happening in our case is that connections to a couple of websites in the US are being routed incorrectly to some Eircom destination (IP Addresses: 83.71.112.197, 83.71.112.198) and not getting any further. I've been onto Eircom and they're "looking into it" since yesterday, but no other update from them.

Anyone else experiencing this?

The attached image shows the result from the speed test. Anyone know why I would be getting results like this? I've checked with a few friends that live in the town and they aren't having any problems. Appreciate any help.....
