5k starting stack. Blinds 25/50. Everyone's fairly close to starting stack.

    Table is fairly tight.

I've kk in mp and raise to 200.

    Only button and bb call.

    Flop:

    AA8

    bb bets 400, i fold.
    button reraises all-in.

    bb has ajo, dwells..........

    Then calls.

    Opinions on the call?

    True.

Would you throw in your stack here early in a relatively deepstacked tournament?

    Horrible decision.

    Is jack high enough?

    Tight table.....maybe not
    Player is on button.....maybe

What level are you playing at here, buy-ins?

In all honesty I'd say against a strong table it's a fold

    but

in all honesty it's a fold I probably wouldn't make myself.

I can't see how someone would reraise all-in with any weak ace here.

AK,A8 or 88 or maybe AQ.

That said I think there's no way I would get away from this hand.

88, AQ and A8 all seem likely enough to me there when someone is push a 5k stack into a less than 1k pot. Pretty read dependant on the button but I think I call most of the time there against a total unknown because it's a donkament in which donks play.

    it's a 50 yoyo buy-in tournament.

I think it's a tight table more because it's early and everyone is getting settled in more than anything else.

Easy call against most players who play like that.

Obviously not. He has any ace.

If he's donkish enough to go allin into a 1k pot, he's donkish to do it with any ace?

The only semi-rational reason I can see for any player to go all in that position is he has A8 or 88, and he feels bb does have an A. Its still a bad play though.
Personally I don't think he has an A. And if he does, and has played the hand that badly, Ill just have to reward him for it :D

I thought both players were idiots.
