How do I stop my PC from hibernating?

My computer keeps going into hibernate or standby (I'm not sure which is which) and therefore kills any downloads I've got, which is really annoying me! Any ideas on how I can fix this?

    Step by step guide:

Right click on a blank area of the desktop
    Select Properties
Get a box called display properties - choose the screensaver tab
On the screensaver tab there is a button at bottom right called power - click it
get a box called Power Options Properties - choose the hibernate tab
Unclick the checkbox to disable hibernation box
    Hit OK etc etc

NB The if you disable hibernation the computer will still shut down or enter standby if you leave it idle for a while. If you don't want it to do this then use the usethe power schemes tab under Power Options Properties
