360 ate my saints row :(

    aghhhhh, was sitting down to finish off saints row tonight, & i was just after finishing off most of the activities so that i could do the last few missions, when all of a sudden the 360 freezes. damn i say as i hadnt saved but it was ok i could do it again. so i reset my 360 & the game got to the loading screen (where you see the saints church just befre you get to the main menu) & then it froze again. so i ejected the disk to find a fantastic example of a fubar'd dvd

    my 360 is still in warenty & the game was in perfect condition when i put it in the tray, do i have any recourse with microsoft?

    email the publisher and cc ms xbox customer care in.

    See what the response is from them. One of them might be willing to take responsibility.

    Did you move or bang the 360 at all? If you didn't I'd definatley get onto MS before you lose another game.

    the same thing happened to me with my Dead Rising disk, a full figured indented circle around it, ruining the gaem :( im very sad as i was also close to finishing it :(

    did u get any come back from ms???? repost and tell what happened then ill decide wether to ring them or exchange the cd for a fresh one from xtra vision!

    As far as I can remember, when there was lots of problems with these after launch, the publisher would only replace the disk for a fee, around €30 I think, and Microsoft if you really annoyed them would offer a copy of PDZ.
    Depending on how bad the scratch it though you may be able to get it repaired?
    My brother knocked over my 360 with Oblivion in it and it refused to read it after. I got some DVD repair paste and put that on, and it did work again, though access times were crazy slow.

    I sent back my 5th Xbox 360 a couple of weeks ago and it has gotten lost in the bowels of MS somewhere. I haven't heard anthing about it since and to be honest I couldn't give a sh!t.

    God I miss my old Xbox Mk 1 :(
