Last minute vegas tips

    going to vegas for the first time wednesday morning at 8am
    am planning on playing the venetian $500 tourney and the wynn $330 game for definite, any of you guys that were over there during the summer recommend any other tourneys, where the softest cash games are etc etc

    also any info on where the best bars, clubs etc are would be much appreciated

    there are a few threads on this already with links to tourrneys on etc.its been over a year since i was there but found the bellagio to be my favorite card room / tourney
    just do a search on the forum

    Was there in August, had a great time. On clubs, Studio 54 is pretty good, expensive enough to get into ~$40, but really nice place with some very hot dancers and some other hot chicks just there for the night. Whatever you do dont go to Coyote Ugly, worst place I was ever in with the worst looking women ever, pure cockfest, about 20 men to every 1 women.

    Go on some of the rollercoasters like New York New York or the one in the Sahara, good enough craic they are.

    I only played cash games in the Stratsophere, poor enough looking card room compared to the likes of the Bellagio and others but I found the games soft enough. I started of sitting at 2/4L with only $20 (practically the only money I had to gamble with!!) and by the end of my 4 days was up $550 profit. I played 2 low stakes tournaments in the Sahara ($60 buy in I think, standard wasn't great) and one in Treasure Island ($60 buy in again, was knocked out either first or second so no idea what the standard was like!!)
