    Can someone who has been in Krakow fairly recently let me know if they take euros. Also any other tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Generally no- you'll have to have polish zloty. That's not a bad thing though as there is a generous conversion. €1 is worth almost 4 zloty, so you'll live like a king if your smart.
    You will find some places that take euro's, but the vast majority of places won't.

    I just got back from there last wednesday.
    I didn't see anywhere that obviously took euro,
    and I just paid in zloty everywhere.
    Everything is very cheap anyway - dinner for two with drinks and coffee was about 25 euro.
    The bus and tram systems are cheap - you can probably buy tickets for the bus in your hotel. Just hop on board and validate the ticket and you're away.

    Bring a warm coat - it's starting to get cold there - hitting 0c at night and early morning.
