Just wondering, does being a member of the IRFU Supporters Club entitle you to first option on tickets for internationals??

    Nope.

Clubs and corporate first. Dregs to the IRFUSC.

I think joining just means that you have a chance to buy tickets.

I could be completely wrong but -

I think it gives you a 24-hr advantage over the likes of Ticketmaster for the Autumn internationals but as far as I know ALL the 6Nations tickets go to the clubs.
If I am wong then I'm joining up tomorrow.
Can anyone confirm about the 6Nations possibilities based on last years experience in the IRFU Supporters Club?

    from irishrugby.ie
    RBS 6 Nations '07

Ireland will play France and England at home in Croke Park. Early bird members i.e. those who joined at the start of the club last year have been given a guarantee that they can purchase a ticket for Ireland V France when they renew membership.

This offer is now closed but we hope to have news on tickets for members later in the year.

Ah, so there may be a small number of tickets available either by lottery or first come first served.
