    Hi Guys

Any advice or pointers to info regarding Pot Limited Holdem strategy ?

I mostly play NL tournaments and sit into cash games occasionally in the Fitz & SE.

Not being able to get people of marginal holdings is a big issue for me and I continuously seem to come out the wrong end with big hands like AA/KK. It seems that 4th & 5th street come into play much more in PL with guys chasing draws e.t.c. with no regard to pot odds.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

PL is really not that much different from NL post flop.
in NL you are hardly ever betting more than the pot on any street and your reraise are generally not more than whats in the pot either (if played properly) apart from a few exceptions .
pre flop is different mostly due to not being able to size your bets the way you can in NL.
i use to think that it was the difference between PL and NL that was letting me down in cash games in live and on the internet .but that was not the case and i found out it was the fact that i was use to playing 6hand max online and 9 handed live which is alot different.
i would suggest practive on your 9 handed game if you intend on playing alot of live PL cash games.

the most important skill in live PLHE is to talk the table into a compulsory blind raise UTG

this allows you to get some meaningful raises in pre-flop when you do have a decent starting hand, it will also place the rocky types on tilt

    that is all

    Hi Eshan

This makes a lot of sense, thanks. I mostly play 6 handed online, so you are quite correct.

    Cheers
