Very stange indeed! I drove to Bull Island yesterday and the sea was pretty much reclaiming the entire beach. The waves were pretty high aswell and reached all the way to the entrance of the beach. It was mayhem! Everyone trying to reverse outta there with oncoming traffic from behind makin it even harder..

    Anyone else witness this???

Yes, i witnessed this aswell, it was just as high as the tide on the 7th of October or whatever day it was supposed to be the highest tide in ten years. It wasn't forecast to be that high but because the pressure was so low it rose up quite a bit, my lowest pressure reading here yesterday was 976.6mb
