MP3 Player advice needed

I've got about $200 (US) to spend on a portable media player. There's a lot out there and I just don't trust the sales clerk at my local big box electronics store to be objective. After all, not every store stocks every brand, anyway (although they all seem to have iPods.) So, I thought I'd ask some real experts.

Here are the features I need:
    • Not an Ipod
    • Resume or bookmarking feature for listening to long podcasts (the way iTunes works)
    • Not an Ipod
    • Needs a screen with software as good as or better than iTunes (but not an iPod.)
    • Must be able to play many audio formats
    • ~5G is more than enough
    • Voice recording w/ built-in mic would be nice but not necessary
    • Radio tuner would be nice but not necessary
    • Should come with software to update the podcasts I listen to -- or be compatible with software like mypodder and such.
    • It would be nice if I could also use it as a USB-type storage device
    • Not an iPod

What's my best bet at about that price with those features. Video is not necessary, but if I can get video within my price range, then maybe I'd go for it. Oh, and don't suggest I wait for Zune. I don't want one for the same (unspecified) reason I don't want an iPod.
