    Hiya, I wanna get a video off YouTube for a presentation in college, and I need it asap. A friend informed me of using www.keepvid.com. But I tried the steps on that and then found out the applications are only suitable for windows, but I unfortunately only have a mac, or am I unfortunate? I know there is always ways around it. If anybody can help me or give some advice I would be greatly appreciate it.

    1. Get the Video Downloader extension for Firefox. Install & restart FF.
    2. Find the video you need, load & start playing it. Once it starts playing, click the Video Downloader button (it should be at the bottom-right). Name the file & give it the .flv extension.
    3. Download iSquint, install, and convert the .flv (flash video) to .mp4
    4. ???
    5. Profit!!

    Forget what I suggested. Tubesock is crap. The firefox extension is free and it works.
