Donnacha O'Dea and PKR?

    In PKR's latest mailings they go on about a bounty game they had versus 5 PKR team pros, one of them is named TheDon, has Donnacha signed with them? I can't find any other promo news about it but it seems weird they would use his nickname and online name if it weren't him.

    While we're on the subject has anyone bothered to play on PKR beyond creating a character and playing for 10 minutes?

    If he has he's not playing there exclusively. He still plays the 20/40 table on Tribeca.

    There is a high stakes cash game player from Sweden that also goes by the name TheDon

    I've played on it a bit with a no deposit bonus they have/had going.
    Very,very little traffic, less than 400 most nights with play money players accounting for about 350 of them, busier on a Sunday as they've a large freeroll but the traffic just increases by more play money players.
    STTs are very slow to fill, and the majority that do fill are between the $1 and $5 level.

    The actual tables are slow to load, theres no chance of multi-tabling properly and the hands per hour would be very low I'd imagine (since it takes a lot longer for each player to act) and as most players are play money players who won a freeroll, the standard is absolutely brutal.
    The only limits that get played are between $0.01/$0.02 and $0.10/$0.20, occasionally there may be a few playing $0.25/$0.50 up to $1/$2 (one table, once, with two players) but I haven't seen anything higher.
    NLHE is the only game thats played, they've cash,STTS and MTTS set up for PLO and PLO H/L but they never get used.

    It has been like that for quite a while now, I would have thought things might improve over time but apparently not. The software itself, it looks good alright and is a laugh to play for a while, but it soon gets boring and just ends up p*ssing you off.
