Mos Def - Tru3 magic

    i heard news online that mos def is going to release a new album called tru3 magic, i don't know if its out yet and i cant find it in any of the cd shops in cork - so does anyone know when it is coming out?

    I know his very mediocre single was going around the web about a month ago.I'm not holding my breath, he really has wasted his talent.Check out Billboard for a release date, its dropping within November I think.

    You probably won't find it in Cork, not for under 30 anyway.:D Best to get it on Amazon if possible.

    It's been pushed back a couple of times, should have been released at this stage. I don't know what the new date is.

    The New Danger was a bad album, so unless he has rediscovered his Black Star days I'm not expecting much from this either.

    If you take off the rap tracks The New Danger is a good album.
    Mad thing to say really.

    If you take The New Danger as a standalone album and ignore everything Mos Def has done in the past it's a decent album (experimental but interesting). If you compare it to what he has done before hand it's a total "wtf" album.

    yeah i have to admit i got a bit of a shock the 1st time i listened to it. But its an album i really enjoy now, it has grown on me an awful lot
