Anybody else qualify for this? 1111 players and 7 seats, not the worst considering it's a freeroll. Another Saturday night stuck in front of the PC isn't exactly what I'm in the mood for though. 'The Jolly Giant' on full tilt if anyone's about.

I'd say about 60% of the players are sitting out. There were only 3 there at my first table and only 4 at this one so could be great value. Just not entirely sure what my tactics should be when there are so many dead stacks at the table. My position isn't exactly great, of the three other players at my table that are there two of them are directly on my left.

Gone. Decided to gamble for a big pot with AJ against a guy with a load of chips who was reraising EVERYONE. He had 88 and I missed. He had being reraising with any ace, KQ etc etc so I was ahead of his range I reckon. Fairly annoyed though, there was serious value in that tourney.

I only seen about 3 hands, but 1 of them was your final hand unfortunately, unlucky.

Yeah maybe I should have just folded, but I was willing to take him on with AJ. As I said I'd seen him reraising with ALOT worse, so thought it was worth a gamble.

Bit surprised you showed AJ but if he is raising a lot then it's acceptable, have some folding equity especially as your utg and your were only a coin flip which is pretty decent, could have been easily dominated.
From his perspective if utg has 3 betted me all-in then you know at best it's coin flip and a lot of time I am dominated so I wonder about his call.

1 of those things, took a chance and it didn't pay off

Well it was also only 4 handed essentially, five of the players were sitting out. It was pretty annoying actually, he was only two to my left with all the chips, so I couldn't take advantage of all the free blinds. That's another reason I took it on, if I get the chip lead at the table it's worth ALOT to me with 5 players sitting out.

I've played it a couple of times, it's a good tourney, gets around 1300 runners. Can't remember what 1st is, think around 60k.
