I'm looking for software I can use to create a glorified slideshow. I'd like to create a series of pictures and mpeg movies together with a backing track. (may be with some on-screen graphics too) Am I looking a video editing suite or is there something else that will do the trick.

You can do all this in Powerpoint - add pictures, music, video etc

Thanks for the reply, but I'd like something a little bit more sophisticated...
I am leaning towards creating a little movie, which would include the photos, mpegs etc

From that point of view, can anyone recommend something
