Right, all 12 of us are trying to come to a decision for our LC hols. Problem is we need to find something to suit everyone. So has anyone been on anywhere which fits the following criteria:
    1.Reasonably cheap
2.Not hard/expensive to get flights to
    3.Is sunny
    4.Has a nightlife
5.Also has interesting things to do e.g: sight seeing, wildlife, nature trails, historical stuff etc.
6.Isn't somewhere like Ayia Napa, or Costa del Knacker!

I suspect we're asking the impossible. But if anyone has any sugestions please do tell!

Ooooh quite a few choices, I'd go for one of:

    Barcelona
Geneva (May not be all that sunny but it's a nice little place - and most airlines do duty free to Switzerland too)
    Lisbon
    Madrid
Marrakech (bit difficult to get flights from Dublin though)
Milan (Getting colder this time of year)
Prague (again, not all that sunny)
    Rome

All lovely places, all have a decent nightlife and things to do.

Prague, Marrakech and Barcelona are good price-wise, and Rome actually isn't too bad.

For Rome you can get Ryanair (god help us) flights to Ciampino, get buses into the city and you can usually find some decent places to stay for decent prices, particularly around the Termini (train station) area. Most food is quite cheap.

Marrakech is fantastic, and one of the least expensive places I've been to but none of the Irish locos go out there so you'd have to do Dublin-Gatick with Ryanair or BA and then on to Marrakech with easyJet or BA which is complicated and would most likely be quite expensive.

Prague is quite cheap again, though it's getting a bit more expensive. The Czechs are catching on to the fact that the oodles of stag/hen parties going out there don't mind paying a little bit more.

Best thing to do is look at hotels/hostels in those countries (try ebookers.ie's hotel section, easyJetHotels.com etc) and compare prices.
