Ross was right purely for the reason that that piece of shít show is just propaganda designed to emasculate and denigrate men and to draw up a set of ridiculous relationship rules that give the woman the upper hand everytime.

Men hugging each other and wearing manbags? Men saying 'I'm' having a baby. This show was the pits. It'd be grand if people had just taken it as some kind of ironic view on life but you could even see some people begining to conform to this way of life back in the big bad world.

'Friends'? They should have called it 'The Deluded and the Pussywhipped.'

The fact he slept with someone 2 seconds after the 'break', showed he didn't give a sh!t about her and had no respect for their relationship.. She was right to permanently finish it when she found out.

I can't believe people are slagging Friends to be cool now...

I know very few people who don't think Friends is funny - yes it's annoying sometimes, and the repeats on e4 are ridiculous...but it's American tv. What do you respect? It's actually FUNNY, unlike Will+Grace, Everybody Loves Raymond etc.

Anyway, it was a stupid thing for Ross to do but Rachel said they were on a break so technically he did nothing wrong.

I wish E4 would take this off the air, it had its time in the 90's but its gotten very tired now.

Hehe im with Ross on this one ,
It has its detractors but really it was a great series for the most part with razor sharp writing for at least the first 5 series and also some great comedy actors.

Friends was hilarious at the time, and even with the repeats i still get a chuckle out of them. Best American Sit-Com ever imho.

Friends was always consistent and finished when it could have gone on for a number of years more.

Did anyone have a rotating fancy towards the women? When it first started, Rachel was HOT!!! the other two were meh, but rachel was really HOT!!! But towards the end, Rachel had gone down hill big time, losing a lot of weight and just looking rotten, while Monica seemed like a fine wine with age:) Phoebe was always in the middle, and hasn't really improved with age either.

I dunno, just something i noticed.

I hated Friends - just too stupid and nonsensical for me and I LIKE a lot of US comedy - and the reruns don't do anything for me either... some of the lads I share with love it so I've had to suffer through some episodes.

It's almost as bad as Sex and The City
