Sooooted Troubles

Just finished my first month of cash play, and very happy with outcome (28.37 BB/100)

Taking time to look at the PT stats (12500 hands), all my Pocket Pairs are profitable, thankfully with AA doing tremendously well holding up 92%.

    Now .... the tricky bit.

    My most profitable hands are 1. AA (7.31BB/Hand) 2. AKo (6.02bb/h) 3. KK (4.20bb/h)

    yet my worst hands are 1. 85o (:D ) 2. AKs (-3bb/h) 3. AQs(-2.6bb/h)

Obviously I have a serious leak here to purrretty sooooted cards, but I'm not conciously aware of this leak, and why it's strange how the Off Suit variety of the same nice preflop holding is very profitable, and sooooted is not (AQo marginally profitable)

    Any remedies?

I think 12500 hands is showing a fair enough picture of my soooted flaws.

A-Ha .... (AQs) Ace High Flush meets Full House = dent in bankroll  (accounts for 2/3 of loss)

(AKs) Made a poor call to a push on the flop with TPTK to a set of 10's ... accounts for 50% of loss. (He was Xtra loose +63% VP$IP, I thought he was pushing a flush draw as was his norm, but was badly wrong)

I think it could be variance even if you have played each hand perfectly

We are talking about a very small subset of your 12500.
i.e. the following conditions would have happened.
    a) its AKs or AQs
    b) you have had a draw to the nut flush on either the flop or turn.
    c) Your opponent has priced you in for this draw (or not priced you out of it).
    d) you have missed the draw or
d1) you have hit your draw but been beaten by a house or quads.

Its such a small subset of your hands that if you had hit your draw even as little as once or twice more then (because these would likely have been large pots) you would have been in profit for these hands.

    Just a thought.

EDIT: In your example above it may as well have been AKo rather than AKs as the suitedness played no part in the hand.

12500 hands is not a big enough data set. Your bb/100 of 28 is 99.9% unsustainable over a larger number of hands.

Its nowhere near enough hands to spot leaks with certain hands. 40-50K is more definitive. Your losses with AK/AQ could easily be down to just missing a lot of flops or losing one big pot.

I disagree with you sir! How many times have you had each of the particular hands, AQs and AKs? How many times have you had each of them on the button, or UTG?

Thought it'd have to be something like this with the smallish amount of hands. And I remember you saying you were doing the Chris Ferguson challenge so assumed it'd have to be something like this, as at those levels you should be smashing them, as you are with your current win rates. I''ve just started it myself, except I'm starting from 1k I forgot how lovely the .25/.50 level was. :D:D
