    I'm getting an LCD on Monday and I'm going to be putting the Sky box and DVD player (and any other equipment I may buy) in a closet. Obviously the remote controls aren't going to work through walls so I've been looking on google and found the following:

    Would this work for a Sky remote and do they sell these things in Europe as I don't want to buy from the US (customs)? Also, is this the best option for what I want to do? I don't want to be splashing out €300 for a Harmony 895. Basically, what's the best option for using multiple devices from another room?

    Most electrical shops should sell Wireless Remote extenders from various makes.

    Since you're in Dublin, maybe try Peats or Maplin.
