    Chepstow 1.55
A 2m4f listed handicap hurdle where Taranis runs off a mark 28lbs below his chase rating. Trained by Nicholls and ridden by Ruby. I think he's a chaser to follow this year and should get his season off to a winning start here. Forecast at 15/8 by the RP. (Nappity-nap!)

    Chepstow 3:35
A handicap chase won last year by Anflora who hasn't won since but has a good chance to repeat. She started her season with a half-decent run over hurdles two weeks ago - the same prep that she had last year before winning this. A good e/w bet at the RP's forecast price of 9/1.

    Newbury 3:15 (Racing Post Trophy)
If this goes ahead, Eagle Mountain is a worthy favourite but I prefer an e/w bet on Sunshine Kid at 14/1. I was quite impressed with his maiden win over C&D two weeks ago and think he can be involved here.

Not quite as calculated as my esteemed friend Crumbs but a lá Pighead Im going to try and win us all a few quid tomorrow with another Irish raider in the UK ;) Sadly though, it aint gonna be 14/1 :p

    Kelso 2:35 Beautiful Vision

Likes the ground, has lumped heavier weight round a similar distance before and won and most obvious of all Conor Clarkson and co own him and its the only runner Taaffe has sent over tomorrow and if all that is not enough theres a nice chap taking 7lb off his back.

    Aintree 2.10 Into the Shadows
Proven over this ground and off this mark. Repeat performance of win at Ayr in April should see her win comfortably here.

    Aintree 2.45 Steppes of Gold
At 10/3 the price is more appealing than his stablemate who should touch evens fairly soon. I wouldn't listen to the RP when they say his hurdles form isn't great. He hasn't been hurdling since 2005 and in his last 5 hurdling attempts he has won three of them. Ground and distance shouldn't be a problem.

    Chepstow 3.00 Two Miles West
Loves this ground but is untested over this trip. There definitely are better horses running in this race but I'm looking for outsider value in this race, and to me Two Miles West represents that. Forecasted at 33s it's actually 20s with PP at the moment. It was superbly well in the Cheltenham Novices Hurdle to finished third, and a repeat of that performance should see it go close providing it can handle the distance.

Just had a good read of the jump cards tomorrow and found another similar opportunity for making a few dollars ;)

    Aintree 1:10 Total Victory

Just touched off at the same distance a few weeks ago on what was similar ground thats expected tomorrow. Hasnt done the weight before but might do us a turn with a good run.

    3.00 at Chepstow

been waiting half a year for DESERT TOMMY to run again, steps up to class 2 this time, he's carrying just 10-1 though!, going is perfect...over this distance has a great record too (has never been unplaced)

    14/1

    3.30 Lingfield

Transvestite - was only beaten by a hair by Descartes (who runs hee too)
this time transvestite carries less (8 pounds less than descartes)

if you back it in paddy, you'll get your money back if descartes beats him to 1st again.

10/1, i'll back it e/w but would not be surprised if it won

I quite fancy two running at Aintree. Into the Shadows tomorrow in the 2.10 and Steppes of Gold in the 2.45. I'll do a write up later, I'm running out the door.

Whistling Teal is running at newbury, just so you know

what yas think of KANPAI in the 1.25 at chepstow?

steps up from class 3 to 1, has won 4 on the trot, all 4 winning easily..last was 35 lengths!
    McCoy on board as well....

14/1...surely worth a few bones each way?

    4.50 Newbury

Inchloch at 20/1 is a great price

It won on this course over the same distance carrying 11 lbs more than he is today. Darley is on board too, isn't huge fan of the ground though, still putting a few quid e/w on it.

Not for me today mate. Was in a very similar race this time last year here off a mark of 76 with the RP (112 official) and finished 4th of 8th. Back in 2002 he did win a similar race to this on soft ground here but he has aged since then and is 10 years old now. I'll be cheering him on, and if he is a big price i might throw a fiver e/w on him but I won't be getting serious.

20/1 is a pretty decent price, might throw 3 euro e/w on it meself

Aye... plus PP are doing "If you take an Early Price and the Starting Price (SP) is greater we will pay you at the greater SP" speical on this race.

another walkover for kanpai, 14s was an insane price for a horse that won by 35 lengths in its last race

    17:30 Lingfield

    Party Boss

Stand out for me. Have had him in Horse Tracker since last year. Excellent record on AW but didnt take to turf runs, back to his preferred course and surface today.

    £10 E/W on Kanpai = £145 beer vouchers

Your bookie ripped you off "m8".

It went off at 12s, it was 14s earlier and considering that it is 1/5 of the odds for e/w placings in this race...

    10 e/w @ 14/1 = 188.00
    10 e/w @ 12/1 = 164.00

    Or did you mean 144?

So it appears bbc1 isn't covering the 2.45 at Aintree. Anyone know if this is on RUK?

A short price at 5/6, but I can't see Eagle Mountain being beat in the 3:15 at Newbury. Head and shoulders above these.

Just one more bet for me today (well 2 actually)

A win and place bet on the exchanges on Hollow Ridge at 3:50 (newmarket)

Won at this course before on his only run to date (on this distance) on soft ground. Should be well up there I'd say.

    2pt win @ 3/1

    3pts place @ 4/5

Excellent stuff yesterday gamb1or, well done.

Not so good from me. Taranis went off odds on but had to work hard to win. He'll be a decent 3m chaser. Anflora was atrocious. She finished last. Sunshine Kid looked good for about 6 and a half furlongs in the Racing Post Trophy but faded to 6th.
