I bet the pot and Villian reraises to 5700.

No reads on Villian apart from him limp folding to a raise UTG+1 a few hands earlier.

just curious samba, what kinda hands are you worried about here? AA? QQ? 88? had a very similar situation the other night myself.

seriously though.... in mtts you must take these sort of chances. Id still be pretty confident I'm ahead. If he has AA or QQ then so be it.

My first reaction was to get the money in as quick as possible. But I don't like the min-raise one bit, feels like QQQ or 888 to me. I'd need more info on the guy, tbh, but most of the time my money is still going in.

Surely he'd have reraised with aces or queens pr. And wouldn't have min raised with queens on the flop?

You cant lay this down.I think your ahead and villian doesnt think youve hit the flop.If he has a set well thats just bad luck.Dont think he played AA that way from mp. looks like nut flush draw or A-Q,though I guess if you won the hand this post wouldnt exist.

I'd be pretty confident he has set of 8's or 3's, more likely 8's
of course in saying that I still probably get it all in but sure I can never fold higher pairs to undercards.

While strictly speaking it is a min raise it is (looking at the stacks) a re-raise all in as well
AQ in fact any q is pushing here and on the back of that a call is good

stacks are too shallow after your flop bet to do anything other than call here

I was told to stop playing KK the other night at the EPM qualifier. Apparently you cant win with them. I cant see how you can lay this down in a sane mind. You have to put him on AQ JJ or similar. You get all your chips over the line now, turn over ur KK and realise he has hit a small set. To further compound I bet he hits a boat or quads on turn/river? Fookin Kings :mad:

This is an online MTT, practically impossible to get a read, the only information we get is out of the min raise.... This is most likely a big draw i.e J10c or a set.

Yes i've him pegged exactly for J10c bearing in mind he limp folded....I say lets go broke as he posted the hand and he lost, if he's a very good player, he flat called your raise with AA/QQ, but would a very good player limp fold UTG+1, unlikely.

This narrows down the range to 88/J10c, i don't think you can find a fold here with half your stack in the middle, esp. if you have the Kc.

I don't think he has 3's.

Result time.

I dwelled up for ages after the reraise as i got one of those "I think i'm beat feelings". I was about to fold and then i finally clicked call and he had 88. I was juat wondering how many people would fold here and play on with 5k with blinds still comfortable but the average stack at that time was about 9000 so thats wat enticed me to call.
