Ok, deep breath, here is my story.
I have a whole bunch of media qualifications, including qualifications in journalism, radio broadcasting and a degree in media production and mgt.
Anyhow, I finished college last yr, and after many twists a turns I ended up temping in an admin type role for X company, and eventually, I took a 6 month contract, with a view to finding something more media related within the 6 months.
Over the 6 months I started to really like my job, my work mates, and employer, and when the 6 month contract was up, I interviewed for the permanent position.
The interview took place just last week, at which point I made known that I didn't see myself forever being in an admin type role, and that my main passion was something more in line with my qualifications, HOWEVER, I also made it known that I did like the company, and was happy to carry out my current role for a while to come, in the hope that I could eventually move accross to the communications dept.

So, bottom line, they offered me the permanent role, and also added some more creative aspects to my job, such as web content management, and so on.
I was delighted, and the world was a wonderful place to live in.

Today, I see an internal add, looking for Public Affairs Exec.

I have read through the job description and I am definitely qualified to fill the role.
The job would be much more in line with my interests and qualifications, and I am really, really interested.

But, what do I do? I only interviewed for my current position last week!
