GPA Nominations problem

was just reading the GPA nominations (press released on 5th Oct), and I notice that Cork got 13, while Kilkenny got 9.

Initially you think, surely thats a mistake?

even the press release states: "The Opel Gaelic Team of the Year shortlist reflects the most successful counties in this year’s championship"

Kilkenny won every game this year, in every (3) competition they entered. Cork won nothing. So this list surely does not reflect the most successful counties?

(then you see that Donal O Grady was the selection committee chairman, and it all makes sense.)

The GPA want to be taken seriously, but I think that all they want is press, lucozade money and making controversial statements.

    a joke
