Dual screen Problem

Hello, trying to get a dual screen setup going.

Have a 7900gs graphics card, connected to monitor via dvi, and connected via s-video to tv.

wanna be able to "drag" movie windows onto the tv which is next to the monitor, and view them. The tv is far bigger, so I thought it a good idea.

Atm, nvidia properties only allow me to select clone. The tv outputs the same as whats on the pc monitor, but it's off-centre, and flickering constantly. (unwatchable)

Is there a better nvidia software thingy that can allow me to sort this out?? or am I doing something wrong?

    Any help apprieciated.

EDIT: playing with the screen resolution seems to vary how well the tv output fits onscreen, but it's still never right.

Try using the windows built in function instead of the nvidia software. Go to display properties and go to the settings tab. Click the big 2 and tick extend my desktop onto this screen and press apply. Then the tv should act as an extended desktop and allow you to drag stuff over. As for the flickering try adjusting the refresh rate...

But it's still quite flickery  Maybe my tv doesn't support whatever hrtz the pc is sending, how can I change that?

Go to the display properties again and the settings tab and click advanced down the bottom. Then click them monitor tab. You can adjust the refresh rate there. What type of tv is it???
