AVG Firewall and bittorrent

I recently dumped McAfee Security Center off my PC and got AVG Antivirus (not the free one) instead, with a firewall. But since then I haven't been able to run any torrents. My settings are exactly the same in bittorrent and I have granted it access in my firewall settings. I have upnp enabled but the torrents just won't…

is there any port configuration for incoming traffic, afaik setting up the program in firewall software usually covers any outgoing traffic/ports the program may use but if the incoming traffic is on a different port avg may be blocking it
