Is there anywhere for heating lunches?

    Hey guys, anyone know if there's a microwave anywhere on campus where I could heat up a lunch? Got so sick of sambos last year, i want to bring in something a bit nicer. The old buttery student special just doesn't fill my rather large appetite!:D

    There's meant to be at least one microwave on campus, not sure if there was once placed in the JCR or not though. If you don't get a reply from anyone else, e-mail the SU President (supresid@tcd.ie) and demand where your microwave is (he is bound to deliver one for students on campus).

    Or just get friendly with someone who lives on campus!

    Good idea. Or get friendly with a sophister botany student (they usually have keys to the botany hut which has a microwave). Alternatively an active member/officer of the physoc as we have a microwave in our soc room. :p

    I got a big laser that would probably do that. There's also a number of kitchens round the lloyd etc that you might be able to wander into and pretend you're supposed to be there.

    Bring your own microwave and use the power sockets in the library.
