Time to dust off your tentacles and ballgown
    because on Friday October 27th
the wonderfully spooky and atmospheric 17th Century Tailors Hall
    is hosting an amazing
    HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL BALL
To benefit the Comhlámh Anti-Racism Project:
(Creatively challenging Racism in Ireland through Education, Advocacy and Awareness-Raising)

UPSTAIRS : PUMPKIN UP THE JAM

The night begins with a little light waltzing to the Slovakian Dulcimer Quartet and then brings you a truly eclectic mix of live music and performance, from trad to hip-hop, from latin confusion to tribal bellydancing.

    IN THE VAULTS BENEATH

We have summoned together some of Ireland's most danceable djs including Firehouse Skank, Rootical Sopund System and DjEddie to create their own alchemy and as much heat as the stone walls can take

    IN THE IVY COVERED COURTYARD

    Tricks and Treats!

All This for a very reasonable and for-a-great-cause 20 Euro

    9pm Till 2am

Costumes, masks, all kinds of fancy dresses are all be very welcome.
And for those who arrive with nothing, Halloween makeovers will also be available on the night!

TO BOOK Contact Alice-Mary or Francesco at Comhlámh 01-4783490 or email alicemary@comhlamh.org - Tickets will also be available from some record shops. We are encouraging people to book in advance as we are hoping this will sell out and don't want anyone arriving at the door in an elaborate armadillo outfit only to be dissapointed!

    That Venue Again:

The Tailors Hall, Back lane, Dublin 8,
one of Dublin's most secret places - a three hundred year old guild hall set in an ivy-covered courtyard in the heart of town. close to christchurch and opposite where mother redcaps used to be

    That Cause Again:

Originally founded by returned development workers, Comhlámh (the name means 'solidarity') have been campaigning and educating for a more just and equitable world for thirty-one years. The Comhlámh Anti-Racism Project seeks to challenge Racism in Ireland through a education, advocacy and awareness-raising and the arts.
