Firefox - change search engine to google.ie ?

    Firefox - change search engine to google.ie ?

    The search bar in Firefox uses google.co.uk - I'd like it to be google.ie - any ideas?

    Open the Firefox search plugins directory [generally C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins].

    Look for the google plugin and open in notepad.
    There will be some code that looks like below

    action="http://www.google.co.uk/search"

    So anywhere you find "co.uk" just replace with ".ie"

    Save and reopen Firefox.

    Cheers for that, I've been pissed off with that for quite a while, living here in Germany and always getting stupid German when I search.
