    Hi All,

Just starting out with the running.

Does anyone have advice on the best way to measure distance when you're running. Obviously I'd like to know how far I've run and how long that's taken me.

    thanks,

    Two options really:

    1. GPS Watches: Garmin Forerunner 201, 301, 205, 305
    2. Footpod + watch: e.g. Polar watches

    Google 'em!!

Assuming you have a car, just drive the route!

this website is pretty accurate...where i run there are km (sli na slainte) markers..and when i measure on this, the measurement is pretty much in line with what i know my running distance is.
