    have 2 goldfish for 2 years now,last year 1 turned white anybody any idea why,everyone who sees it is amazed at this and has never heard of it happening.

    Google for "white spot" + goldfish and see if it's the same thing.

    As far as I know goldfish actually turn white with old age. The fish may be older than two years of age so this may be the cause. You can read up more on this and other queries on www.tropicalfishcentre.co.uk. I've found this site to be very helpful and it's free to join.
