Leading run reappears in a 2m 4 maiden hurdle at punchestown today. A cashcow for me last year it'll be interesting to see how he progresses over hurdles. He's plenty short today seeeing as Meade has issued a warning that his jumping at home has been a bit 'sticky' but i'll watch with great interest.

    Iktitaf's is odds of 1-5???

    Davenport democrat can beat him...

a nice e/w one is AMANPURI in the 3.20 at Worcerster, folloewed earleir in the year, last couple of races it disappointed, but hes had a long enough break now and hopefully is back on form....o'brien on board is a big plus

I think Amanpuri might be a bit out of his depth, he has to give weight to younger horses who were rated a lot higher than him over hurdles in a decent beginners chase.

I'd have a marginal preference for Nina De Solva ahead of Jeremy Cuddleduck because she was easily the best of these over hurdles, stays all day and goes well on a soft surface. As most of these have never jumped a fence in public it has to be taken on trust that they will take to larger obstacles.

    Last season, sorry!!!

Seriously tho, a good performance yesterday. Was as big as a house in the parade ring and wasn't that fluent at his hurdles. However under a good carberry ride he showed great spirit to battle on after a good jump a the last and get up on the line. Lad brokes pushed him out to 16s for the RSA hurdle after claiming to be 'unimpressed'. Surely an over reaction, more schooling and more fitnness work obviously needed but a decent effort by a chronically unfit horse to beat a decent yardstick in badgerlaw (who was obviously off for his life judging on how fit he stripped and the weight of money behind him). One to look forward to for the rest of the season. Only worry for cheltenham would be if it came up quick then he could easily be re routed to the 3 miler on the friday.
