    Hi All,
I've just been told i've tickets to the utd v's liverpool game this weekend if i can make my way over. Have checked both aerlingus and ryanair to both manchester and liverpool but prices are pretty steep.

anyone know of any cheap ways of getting to manchester?
    thanks

Ferry from Dublin to Holyhead, then a train to Manchester. Roughly €30 each way as a foot passenger.

There's a direct ferry from Dublin to Liverpool too, where you can also get a train to Manchester.

    Great price...well happy with that.
Fingers crossed its going to be a great game.
